Applying for the Canadian Bachelor of General Studies

Non-Canadian residents are encouraged to get a Canadian bachelor general studies degree, but the requirements for non-Canadian residents applying to Canadian distance programs differ from the requirements for native Canadian applicants. For non-Canadian residents applying for a Canadian bachelor of general studies degree:

  • Students having the International Baccalaureate High School diploma must have a GPA or grade point average of 4.0.
  • US residents must submit their SAT scores.
  • International residents with neither a high school diploma or GED must consult the university individually.
  • International applicants whose first language is not English will be required to take an English proficiency test. This will determine if they need to pursue basic university English and writing courses before beginning their degree.
