To attend university in Canada, you must have completed grade 12 at the academic level. For mature students, a GED or provincial diploma may be accepted at some levels. Most universities will have GED graduates take an English writing assessment test to make sure they are able write at the university level.
Most Canadian universities welcome international students. Distance learning universities provide detailed educational prerequisites for students seeking a Canadian degree.
