Obtaining a Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services

The Canadian Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services has one of the highest learning outcomes of any degree, listing 32 possible job outcomes.
Available through open learning from Athabasca University and available to Canadian, US and International students, the Bachelor of Professional Arts Degree is designed for students working in the human services field. Students must hold a 2-year Human Services College diploma to be eligible for admission. This 2-year diploma gives students 60 credits toward the 120 credits needed for the Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services.

The most essential part of the Bachelor of Professional Arts in Human Services degree is the concentration area. Students can specialize their learning to either continue and apply the specialization to their current job or diversify and re-specialize to obtain a different position upon graduation.
