Transferring Educational Credits to the Bachelor of General Studies

If you plan on attending a Canadian distance learning university, you should know they assess prior learning through PLAR, Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition. Students with portfolios are encouraged to use them as a tool to obtain a credit transfer. While transferring credits from other universities is usually the easiest route, online tests are administered for students wishing to apply to college, community college, professional development and on-the-job training toward their degree. Testing fees are paid for by the student.
